Rocky Mountain High
I soar on laminated wings Forgetting work and earthly things Employing force of gravity To shift my weight and turn the ski. While overcoming natural fears I seize the moment that appears To take the plunge and love the ride On Colorado’s mountainside. Encouraged by some newfound friends To see through snow-distorted lens I soar on laminated wings Beneath the snowsuit, my heart sings. |
